In an increasingly technological world, we often see the practical development of self-confidence and self-reliance left by the wayside of Google searches and unlimited digital connectivity. Sticks and Stones Adventures believe empowerment and independence of mind can be greatly developed through applied, focussed activities resulting in both tangible and intrinsic outcomes.
 

Our activities and workshops are universal (age, gender, ability nor background affect the learning outcomes) and are designed to encourage the practice of fundamental life skills for building resilient, confident and critically-thinking young adults. Nature-based education seeks to marry theory and practice, enabling insight, creativity and innovation, for example the simple task of building a sturdy shelter can clarify the practicality of mathematics, science and art, as well as being immensely rewarding.
